Phiadon is the oldest of the North Broadlands nations. Once a mighty military power,
its strength of arms has waned of late, although the kingdom still boasts the strongest
naval force in all of northern Sryth.
Queen Laraon Cheven has ruled Phiadon for nearly twenty years,
and is loved, and served loyally by her subjects. She is a shrewd tactician, and
oversees all aspects of the Phiadonese military. Prior to her reign, this was unheard
of among the monarchs of Phiadon.
Despite her popularity among her subjects, the Queen has survived several assassination
attempts throughout her reign.
Phiadon enjoys good relations with both Naidor and
Tysa , although the same cannot be said for the nation of
Hadrigon to its south. Of all the nations in Northern Sryth,
Phiadon and Hadrigon have waged war against one another more times than any other.
There has not been a large scale armed conflict between the two nations in over fifty
years, but tensions still run high, and both sides remain ever-vigilant.
The capital of Phiadon is Rhokor .
