Tysian Knights are warriors who have pledged to serve the
King of Tysa . These warriors pledge an oath
of loyalty to the King, and are expected to willingly sacrifice
their own lives in battle to defend the monarch or the Kingdom should
the need arise.
Many Tysian Knights are the offspring of former knights, who were raised
from an early age to follow in the footsteps of their knighted parent.
While there are more men than women who serve as knights in the Kingdom
of Tysa, the title may be bestowed upon anyone of either gender.
Only Tysa's reigning monarch can bestow knighthood on a subject, and that
subject must be Tysian by birth.
