This small island (too small to appear on most maps) is located
just off the southeast coast of Saarngard Isle in the turbulent
and treacherous waters of the Saarn Split .
The ruins of an ancient shrine of unknown origins dominate the rocky
hills in the middle of the island.
Many legends tell of a fearsome beast that prowls the island and guards
its ancient shrine. In many of the tales, this creature is referred to
as the 'Beast of Shrine Isle'.
