Rockspine

These large (bear-sized) myriapods generally assume the colour of any rock surface onto which they cling, making it nearly impossible for them to be detected until they move to attack their unwary prey.

Rockspines are so named due to the sharp ridges that line the top of their multi-sectioned, armoured torsos.

Armed with a set of powerful jaws and deadly mandibles, these ravenous, many-legged horrors lurk in caves and other dark places where they lie in wait to ambush any creature unfortunate enough to wander by.
