Dream Summons

Dream summons is the name given to a special form of magical communication, where someone (usually an extremely powerful mage) will contact a subject by injecting thoughts, sounds, and images into that subject's dreams.

Dream summons are almost always produced using a Dreamstone or a Dreamscroll. These rare and powerful items are usuable only by master mages, though very few are believed to still exist.

The Archmage Hurenon , perhaps the most illustrious and influential spellcaster of the current age, is thought to be well versed in the practice of dream summons.
