Riverdocks

The 'riverdocks' is the name commonly ascribed to the inlet that accommodates the main wharves that handle the river traffic passing into and out of Trithik .

The loading and unloading of cargo and passengers at the 'riverdocks', a seemingly never-ending affair, has been decreed by Thane Pyrond to be exempt from the city's otherwise strictly-enforced curfew.

It is rumoured, though not confirmed, that pressure from the River Guild combined with his own appreciation for the importance of the commerce conducted by way of the riverdocks is what caused the Thane to issue the decree.

Despite recent efforts to improve the riverdocks, many dilapidated structures still crowd the quayside, lending the location a seedy, unappealing appearance.
