Kiast - The Lawless Isle

Once part of the Kingdom of Koth , Kiast became a notorious haven for pirates and brigands. A brutal revolt led by the bold pirate Sykk-Ril drove the last remnants of Kothian presence from its shores, and the island has been a home for lawlessness and disorder ever since.

Kiast is said to be the home of the infamous Market of Horns , where it has long been rumoured that the less-than-scrupulous buy and sell slaves, and other forbidden commodities.

Kiast is now regarded as a lawless state by all kingdoms in the North Broadlands , and as such, trade with the island state is strictly forbidden.

Many of Sryth's most notorious outlaws have sought refuge on the Lawless Isle.

There have been no recent attempts by a major North Broadlands nation to take back the island from its criminal keepers, and there are few sea captains (if any) who are willing to risk a voyage there.
