Gunderalg

Gunderalg, a master warrior-mage and accomplished adventurer who hailed from eastern Phiadon , achieved his fame (and his considerable wealth) by slaying several marauding dragons along the western Tysian border.

It's rumoured that Gunderalg perfected a combination of magic and swordwork that allowed him to defeat almost any dragon with relative ease.

When at last Gunderalg reached the end of his days (he's said to have died after swiftly downing an autumn ale in Trithik), it's believed that a powerful sorcerer preserved his spirit -- in the hopes that it could some day be bestowed upon another adventurer.
