Sryth™ Expanded Info EntryDeathbarb Spiders
These giant, venomous, green and black spiders, many of which grow to reach the size of a large
dog, are named for the long, barbed stinger that protrudes from the end of their
tapered abdomens.
The venom injected by the barbed stinger serves to incapacitate the spider's prey, and can ultimately
paralyze creatures man-size or smaller.
Once thought to have gone extinct, sightings of deathbarb spiders have occurred with greater
frequency over the last few years, all across the North Broadlands.
