"Bull and thrushes" is a particularly offensive phrase often uttered
absent-mindedly in the heat of the moment by those under intense duress.
No one with a clear head (or any sort of respectable upbringing) would
consider using this phrase, regardless of the dire circumstance that
might seem to make its vocalization temporarily appropriate or excusable.
The precise meaning of the phrase, while widely known, will not be
given here. It suffices to say that this phrase should not be used
in any context...ever.
In fact, it would be for the best if you just forgot that you ever
heard it.
