Blood Thief

These large, black, flying, wasp-like insects (a third the size of a human) are aggressive and deadly predators.

Blood thieves seek to suck the blood of their foes after injecting them with a paralyzing venom capable of immobilizing man-sized prey.

Now and again, horrific tales involving massive swarms of these vile creatures are heard, though only those unfortunate enough to witness such a fearsome spectacle can truly appreciate the sheer terror such an encounter inspires.
