This vast mountain range spans nearly the entire eastern flank of
the Kingdom of Tysa and serves as the natural
border between Tysa and
Ryorsial .
Several passes, high amidst the towering peaks of this imposing range,
offer passage between the two kingdoms, though the daunting prospect of
attempting to traverse the perilous gaps has seen to it that the paths
are infrequently traveled.
Legends tell of a series of deep tunnels that pass beneath the mountains,
connecting Tysa and Ryorsial. The tunnels are said to have been constructed
during the Age of Storms by a race of giants
who have long since vanished.
One of the tallest peaks in all the Alspuins is
Mount Karugarn .
