Tarxyl is a world of living shadows, ruled by a powerful
entity known only as the
Shadowmarn .
Legends say that the Shadowloom, an artifact capable of creating
objects out of living shadows, can be found at the very heart of
Tarxyl, protected by a legion of nightmarish creatures whose
sole loyalty is to the Shadowmarn .
It is believed, by those on Sryth who practice the strange but
powerful art of shadow magic that
the magical energy they harness to ply their craft has its
origins in Tarxyl.
