These large, dark-scaled snakes have a wide silver stripe that runs the
length of their torso. They grow quite large, sometimes exceeding twenty feet
in length, and can adapt to survive remarkably well in almost any climate.
These powerful constrictors are slow-moving, and prefer to drop on their
unsuspecting prey from above, with the goal being to incapacitate a victim
before squeezing it to death.
The hide of this snake is quite oily and pungent, and therefore
not desirable.
