Bordered by Lake Ironrain on the south and the Stonehills of
Northwestern Tysa on the north, this legendary (some would say
'haunted') forest remains a place into which few willingly
dare venture.
Much of the Old North Wood is, and has been, in a prolonged state
of decay (for several centuries). The woodland's once-proud
hardwood giants are now largely black with rot.
A few areas of the forest, however, appear to have escaped the
unnatural blight that has plagued and devoured the rest of the
wood.
