Hylbor Beetle

The dog-sized black-shelled beetles are relatively common throughout the woodlands of Tysa, Phiadon, and Ryorsial. They are carnivorous and have a nearly insatable appetite. Thus, these predators will usually attack anything that moves in their vicinity.

They have a set of large powerful pincers that protrude to cover their mandibles, and a long, sharp horn that sticks squarely out of the middle of their head.
