Gripmaul

A famous warrior and adventurer, whose grand exploits are at the centre of some of the North Broadlands most enduring legends, Gripmaul is said to have died defending a village on Tysa's eastern frontier from a massive goblin onslaught.

While many believe that a great number of the legends concerning Gripmaul have been exaggerated through various retellings, the most learned agree that there is much truth to be found in them.

Several years before his death, it is believed that Gripmaul, with the help of several powerful allies, built three shrines to preserve his legacy -- and to guard some of the secrets he had unlocked during a lifetime of adventure.
