The Grey Mage remains one of the most mysterious, powerful, and influential personages in all of Sryth.
By all accounts the reclusive mage is the supreme leader of The Grey Circle ,
a politically, and magically powerful guild of mages.
Quartered in a hidden chamber within the Tower of Anarain , in the
city of Asphyr ,
it is unknown if the Grey Mage has been seen by more than a handful of people
over the last few centuries. It
is rumoured that the Grey Mage communicates telepathically with the most powerful members of the
Grey Circle, and so remains abreast of all that comes to pass throughout the realms.
The Grey Mage is said to possess magical power beyond human comprehension.
The Grey Mage's words on all matters, which are made known from time to time, are usually taken
under careful consideration by all of Sryth's rulers.
