The boltsling, also sometimes called a boltslinger, is a quasi-mechanical
device constructed out of wood and iron that somewhat resembles a crossbow.
This item is a devastating weapon that fires sharpened metal bolts at
extreme velocities, which are capable of killing outright anything they
hit.
A series of gears, wound by a cord and controlled with a release lever, give
the boltsling its awesome power.
Boltslings have been almost universally outlawed throughout all of the
North Broadlands .
