Boggryn, also known as both 'swamp goblins' and 'mireclaws',
are grey-skinned goblins known to inhabit swamps, marshes, bogs,
and the like.
These crafty, diminutive humanoids are less intelligent than many
of the other species of goblindom, but what they lack in intellect
they more than make up for in cruelty and savagery.
Boggryn will often be found living in fortified settlements, deep within
swamps. They will also take up residence in and around abandoned/ruined
structures.
A small number of boggryn are born with wings. These creatures, though
more fierce and agile than their wingless brethren, possess only
animal intelligence. The winged boggryn often live on the outskirts
of boggryn settlements and are usually thought of merely as beasts
by their kin.
Boggryn are master hunters, foragers, fishers, and swimmers.
It should be noted that 'boggryn' is both the singular and plural form
of the name.
