Arcarald is a small but vibrant settlement situated several miles west of
the town of Dragonwrath on the northeast shoulder
of Barrow Loch.
Arcarald is home to a band of mercenaries (many of them adventurers -- both former and current)
under the employ of
Maragyr Hullthorn , a warrior whose monster-slaying feats have earned
him a fearsome (and well-deserved) reputation.
The town serves as a staging area for the silver shipments leaving Dragonwrath. Here, the
wagon caravans acquire a small guard of mercenaries (Maragyr Hullthorn's men) who protect the
both the valuable quarry and those who transport it.
