Blue Sawfin

Though not nearly as large as its sea-dwelling relative, the red sawfin, the blue sawfin can still reach a length of nearly three feet.

Though the blue sawfin poses no particular threat to anything save the smaller fish it preys upon with its razor-sharp teeth, it's not unheard of for a large school of these voracious predators to attack other living creatures they come across in the water.

The blue and white fish gets its name from the broad, spiny fin that spans almost the entire length of its back.

The blue sawfin is a meaty fish that is prized for both its flesh and its abundant oil.
