Umborek Baleward

Many historians credit the master elementalist, Umborek Baleward , as the last true steward of Fogbough .

He served as steward of the cursed wood, waging a constant battle against the creeping evil that sought to press the borders of the forest, from his family's ancestral home -- the imposing woodland fortress known as Castle Baleward .

Nearly two hundred years ago, Umborek is said to have met an untimely death at the hands of an ancient and powerful forest evil. His only son, a master spellcaster named Umdurol is believed to have fled the castle following his father's death, thus breaking the line of stewardship.
