Troll-Bont

This odd-looking weapon was invented by Jirig Ayroth , a man better known to many as The Troll Hunter .

It consists of two heavy blocks of wood, sometimes studded with iron spikes, attached one right above the other to the end of a sturdy iron or steel pole. When swung in a crossing downstroke, the heavy blocks spin on the pole and slide down its length at the same time. A perfectly-executed stroke with a troll-bont will strike a troll in three vital areas on a single stroke, doing heavy damage, and at times killing the creature outright.

Jirig is the only known master of this odd weapon, and he has taught its use to many of those in his employ proficient enough to wield it.
