The Murk

'The Murk' is the name that the residents of Stormfield have given the large swamp that borders the town. Many legends surround the quagmire, but none more famous than that of the murk-men .

The rumour that an ancient temple hidden in the heart of the swamp is filled with valuable treasures have enticed many to enter the swamp over the years, although they all either abandoned their searches or simply never returned from the tangled, mazelike mire.
