Targannar

Targannar is a semi-legendary warrior-mage who was the master of a rare form of magic that allowed him to transform living flesh into stone.

As his powers of petrification grew, he became exceedingly wicked, using his magical ability to gain power and wealth beyond reason.

Of all his material wealth, his most prized possession was the magical horn, Stonesong , which is said to have the power to pertrify any giant that hears its haunting blast echoed in the hills.

Targannar used this horn to gain the obedience of several fearsome giants, which he employed to further his own wicked ends.

In the final days of his life, the cruel warrior-mage is said to have constructed his own tomb, complete with a devious puzzle that he hoped would forever protect his final resting place, and his beloved horn.
