Root Wine

Not really a wine at all, root "wine" is actually a strong, slightly sweet-tasting spirit made from the root of the yegorek vine.

Root wine, sometimes called "the jitters", is a drink in demand in taverns and ale houses throughout the realms. Apart from its intoxicating properties, the spirit provides a remarkable warming effect, and has long been a cold weather staple, often consumed at the conclusion of a meal.
