Queen Laraon Cheven of Phiadon

Queen Laraon Cheven has ruled Phiadon since the death of her father, King Temren, nearly twenty years ago. She is considered by many to be a good ruler, although there have been several attempts made on her life during her fifteen year reign.

Many believe the assassination plots are the work of the Galerin Forge , a secretive and violent separatist movement originally from the port city of Galerin .

The Queen has never married, and the failed assassinations have made her extremely wary of the intentions of others -- even those close to her.

She is a shrewd tactician, and oversees all aspects of the Phiadonese military. Prior to her reign, this was unheard of among the monarchs of Phiadon.
