Mount Maeltar

The tallest peak in Northern Sryth is the towering Mount Maeltar. This mountain is the tallest of three lofty peaks on the Arm of Maeltar spur of the Felrundin Range .

The mountain was named after the ancient king of the fire giants, Maeltar, whom the god Srythak is said to have slain during a war in the cosmos just before the creation of time.

A longstanding legend has it that there is a maze somewhere at the heart of Mount Maeltar, and that anyone able to find it and successfully traverse the many perils it contains will discover Maeltar's tomb, and the untold riches it contains.
