Kurnok

The foul-tempered kurnok is a beast that almost defies description.

This ogre-sized terror, its thick hide covered with bristly black hair, moves about on four legs most of the time, though it is capable of walking upright. Its large mouth is full of long, sharp fangs, and it has a long, barbed tail that it uses to stun its prey before tearing it open with its deadly claws.

The kurnok's face resembles that of a bear.

Few have lived to tell of an encounter with one of these menaces.
