Battle Markers

Battle Markers are a rare, valuable, and mysterious form of currency awarded at random to adventurers, usually in recognition of a brave or valourous feat.

These small squares of ravenbone are emblazoned with the solid silver silhouette of a dragon in flight. Beneath the silver dragon is a pair of crossed swords, emblazoned in gold.

How, why, and when Battle Markers are awarded is something that continues to puzzle even the most learned of sages.
