Despite its immediate proximity to the cursed wood, the citizeny of Ashlyre are hardy souls who prosper on the fertile western flank of Moonlyre Lake.

A sturdy stockade of pointed ash logs surrounds the settlement, protecting its inhabitants from the perils inherent in an existence lived in the remote wilds.
